WATSON, Mervin Elwood (Merv)

Peacefully surrounded by his family at home on Sunday, September 24,
2006 in his 84th year; devoted husband of 62 years to Eileen Stinson;
Proud, loving father of Morley, Carl (Betty), Nan (Tom Austin) and
Jane (Tim Rutledge); cherished grandfather of Sarah, Jennifer, Coby,
Brad, Sam, Chloe, Martin, Althea, Kelly, Bruce, Nancy and Paul and
great-grandfather of Tyler, Ciara, Emma and Jayden; dear brother of
Evelyn McMahon and Maurice and Elsie Watson; predeceased by his
parents William and Bethia Watson, brother Cecil Watson, sisters
Phyliss Coleman, Helen Robb and

Lorna Piche.


Friends may call at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home & Chapel,

21 First St., Orangeville on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.


Funeral Service will be from St. Mark's Anglican Church,

5 First Ave., Orangeville on Thursday, September 28, 2006

at 11:00 a.m.

Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery.

As expressions of sympathy donations to St. Mark's Anglican Church or
the Autism Society would be appreciated.

A tree has been planted in memory of Merv in the Dods & McNair
Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville.

A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 9th, 2007 at
2:30 p.m.
